With 98 hours on the bike, the last oil change showed a concerning amount of metallic material. After some serious consideration, the customer made the call to do things properly and have the engine torn down before it turned into a much bigger failure.
Upon inspection, we found the big-end bearing was starting to let go — catching it before it caused further damage.
